Condition Report

This rare 25th Anniversary Edition set is in good condition overall, having recently undergone a complete, high-yield professional restoration.

As characteristic of natural leather and a restoration re-dye, there is a slightly brighter/lighter patch of colour on a small area of the backrest, where the leather absorbed the dye differently. This blends naturally into the character of the piece.

There are light, historic cat scratches on the rounded armrests and fine surface 'crazing' or crackling. These areas were fully stabilised and dyed over, softening their appearance, though they remain visible upon close inspection (see photos) as the authentic history of the piece.

​The Footstool / Ottoman: The matching footstool shows a few minor, scattered surface marks and light signs of use as to be expected with a pre-loved piece, but it has been fully conditioned and is structurally perfect.
